The Division 2: Echoes of Central Park — Trailer announcement unveils next DLC

Ubisoft (YouTube) released an announcement as a trailer for The Division 2: Echoes of Central Park DLC, confirming the development of a new episode of the narrative arch of the flagship game. The promotional material puts forward Central Park as a new theatre of action, suggesting a major extension of the universe of the game without revealing the exact mechanisms or dates of release. The trailer is part of a strategy of post-launch continuity that aims to maintain the interest of players through additional content and renewed cooperative experiences. Apart from the iconic urban setting and environments worthy of an apocalyptic narrative, the trailer focuses on the idea of exploration and confrontations facing specific threats to the fictional New York localization, while promising challenges and narrative issues specific to Echoes of Central Park. The fact that the primary source comes from an official YouTube channel of Ubisoft underscores the studio's objective to communicate directly with its community and to put this DLC in the schedule of the planned updates, without waiting for it to become a media-media-based unit. No detailed technical information — such as the exact dates — remains the same as the ones of the studio's objective to communicate directly with its community and to put this DLC into the calendar of the expected updates, with no less than a new bid. 2 as an evolutionary and multi-player experience supported by the developer.
